China Visa

Chinese Tourist Single or Double Entry Visa:

- No additional documents required.

- Former Chinese citizens will need to submit a copy of their Chinese name written in Chinese characters.

Chinese Tourist Multiple Entry Visa:

- A detailed letter explaining precisely why the multiple entry visa is necessary. The decision to grant or deny the Multiple entry Tourist visa to China lays with the Chinese Consulate. The Chinese Consulate may deny the Multiple entry visa and substitute it by a Double entry visa.

Chinese Business Single / Double / Multiple Entry Visa:

- An invitation letter from the host company or unit in China or a business letter from the company in the US explaining the purpose of the trip. For a Multiple entry visa the letter should explain precisely why the applicant needs to travel to China so often.

- A copy of the Visa Notification Form, sealed by the appropriate Municipal Bureau of Commerce in China, may be required upon request. The form can be obtained by the company in China.

Chinese Crew Visa:

- Formal application letter issued by the airline or shipping company.

- The original and photocopy of the employee ID of the applicant.

Chinese Visa for Diplomats and Officials:

- Visa Cover Letter from the U.S. Department of State

- Letter from sending department or agency, addressed to:
"Embassy of The Peoples Republic of China, Visa Section, Washington D.C."
